Abstract

This article analyzes violations of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) code of ethics in a case of extortion involving high-ranking officials. The study aims to identify the forms of violations and their impact on the institution's image. The method used is a literature review from various sources. The results show that Firli Bahuri, as a suspect in the extortion case, violated three KPK ethical codes: direct contact with parties involved in the case, failure to report meetings, and failure to report assets. These violations reflect a lack of integrity and undermine the credibility of the KPK. These findings highlight the need to strengthen oversight mechanisms and implement structural reforms to restore public confidence in Indonesia's anti-corruption efforts.
