The International Journal of Finance and Business Management (IJFBM) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published monthly by Multitech Publisher. It is officially registered under AHU-036359.AH.01.30.Tahun 2023 and is based in Berastagi, North Sumatra, Indonesia. As an open-access journal, it is freely available online. The following section outlines ethical guidelines for authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, based on the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
Publishing research in IJFBM is a crucial step in establishing a reliable and respected knowledge base. It reflects the quality of the authors’ contributions and their affiliated institutions. As a peer-reviewed journal, it upholds scientific integrity and ethical publishing practices. Multitech Publisher ensures that editorial decisions remain independent of advertising, reprint orders, or any other commercial interests.
Publication Decisions
The IJFBM editor selects the most suitable manuscripts for publication based on their validity and significance to researchers and readers. Editorial decisions align with journal policies and adhere to laws concerning plagiarism, copyright, and defamation. Editors may consult with other editors or reviewers when making final decisions.
Fair Evaluation
Manuscripts are assessed purely on their academic merit, regardless of the authors’ gender, race, religion, citizenship, political views, or sexual orientation.
Confidentiality

Authors’ Responsibilities

Data Access and Retention:
Authors may be required to provide raw data for editorial review and should retain this data for a reasonable time after publication. Whenever possible, data should be made publicly accessible in accordance with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases. -
Originality and Plagiarism:
Authors must ensure their work is completely original and that any borrowed content is properly cited or quoted. -
Multiple or Redundant Submissions:
Submitting the same research to multiple journals is unethical and unacceptable. -
Source Acknowledgment:
Proper credit must be given to all referenced works that have influenced the study. -
Authorship Criteria:
Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the study's conception, design, execution, or analysis should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final version before submission. -
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest:
Any financial or personal interests that could affect the research findings must be disclosed. Funding sources should also be specified. -
Corrections in Published Works:
If an author discovers a significant error in their published work, they must promptly notify the journal and cooperate in retracting or correcting the paper. -
